You don’t need to be musical to benefit. This modality is about presence, not performance.

How Music Therapy Supports Healing
After a burn injury, many survivors face emotional overwhelm, difficulty processing trauma, or feelings of disconnection from self and others. Music therapy creates space for non-verbal expression and nervous system regulation, helping to support mental and emotional well-being.

What a Session Might Look Like
Sessions are always tailored to the individual. Depending on your comfort and goals, a session may include:

Writing, reflecting, or drawing during or after music

Breathing or movement paired with sound

Quiet presence with the therapist in a music-supported space
You are not expected to sing or perform. Everything is done at your pace, with consent, care, and curiosity.
