Cave Creek Trail Ride
Connection, Laughter, and a Little Dust
Born from the joy and bonding of equine therapy at our Day at the Ranch event, the Cave Creek Trail Ride is one of our most memorable community events. It’s a day to get outside, share a laugh, ride through the desert, and make memories that stick.
We created this event to give burn survivors, families, and caregivers a casual space to just be with the horses. No pressure, just connection.

Why We Ride
After our Day at the Ranch, we knew we had to do more with our equine loving friends. The Trail Ride was a natural next step, something fun, low-key, and full of heart. We ride to celebrate how far we’ve come, to support one another, and to enjoy being together without any expectations.
This event isn’t about healing in a structured sense, it’s about living, laughing, and enjoying the horses. Telling stories. Feeling proud, strong, and connected with others who truly get it.

Highlights from the Trail
These events bring together survivors, caregivers, burn care professionals, and community members for a shared day of learning, growth, and support. Designed to nurture emotional healing and connection beyond the hospital setting, the Walter Hive Wellness Day provides a creative and welcoming space to explore alternative therapies.
