Changed by Fire is a non-profit organization committed to helping burn survivors & their families cope & thrive in life after a burn, to include emotionally, psychologically, & socially utilizing alternative healing methods. The modalities to include EFT, Equine Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Burn Scar Therapy Massage, Yoga, Aromatherapy and Meditation/Breathwork.
We believe in building a community of inclusion, love & healing by hosting events and bringing survivors and their caregivers together. From equine therapy, to
group outings, we try to make sure no survivor feels alone in their healing journey.

We work alongside other organizations that support
the burn community to complement existing
offerings. From donating to camps, helping fund new
services, to assisting with compression garments, we
are here to help.

The leadership of Changed by Fire was directly impacted by a personal family tragedy. During that time they were exposed to numerous surgeries, treatment options & procedures, cutting edge technology, new experimental strategies, support groups and medical terminology that was forced to be learned & researched due to the harsh long term reality for the burn survivor & their families. With a newfound awareness, Changed by Fire was formed to help support burn survivors and their families not only manage through the journey but contribute to their long term healing in a positive & effective way.
